Fish shaped highly glazed stoneware Gluggle Jug.
From the original design by Thomas Forester & Son in Staffordshire in the 1870's. Now reproduced and made in Stoke on Trent in lovely contemporary colours.
A wonderful present, large or medium size, can be used for drinking water, but also as a vase, wine carafe or milk jug. With the loud gurgle gluggle noise it makes when pouring and the enchanting fish design, this jug makes for an amusing talking point. Steeped in history and loved by generations, this gluggle jug is popular and fun.
